Martin Garcia is a Senior Executive with 15+ years of experience, both in commercial and operational roles within the Private, Public, Non-Profit, and Academia sectors. Mr. Garcia holds a B.S. and a M.Eng degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a Master of Science in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, with a concentration in Strategic Management, Sustainability and Complex System Analysis.
Mr. Garcia is now the Chief Sustainability and Strategy Officer at Enlite Home, where his main task is to develop and implement a strategy for sustainable growth in a fast-paced industry, combining business strategy, operations management, purpose and sustainability within the solar arena. When Garcia was first introduced to Enlite, there was a clear alignment in what the company needed and what knowledge and skills he could provide. “My dream come true would be a company where I can make a difference and a company who wants to make a positive impact, and all those ingredients were here. It was a fantastic alignment,” Garcia shared. Prior to this role, Mr. Garcia acted as the Head of the Public-Private Partnerships Division within the Social Development Ministry of Chile. His main tasks included the implementation of the Technical Secretariat of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Country, the design of the first Social Impact Investment mechanisms in the government, and the continuous evaluation of more than 300 (per year) social impact projects. Garcia’s extensive experience structuring sustainable strategies within government, university, and business sectors will help drive Enlite towards greater success as a socially and environmentally responsible company. “Enlite is a different company because you can find alignment and coherence among all ideas and actions that we are implementing.
